Brittanni will teach her students how ride at a walk, trot, and canter, how to back up, and how to stop a horse. They will also learn how to make the horse pick up the correct lead at the canter, and how to post(on the correct diagonals) if they are riding english. Her students will also learn to stay balanced on the center of the horse. Students will first learn the basics of handling a horse on the ground: grooming, leading, and tacking them up. Brittanni will go over what tack(saddles, bridles, etc) they will be using, and what the names of each items are. When that is completed, students will start riding in the round pen, which is smaller than the ring and not as intimidating. After the student is comfortable in handing the horse at a walk and trot, lessons will be moved out of the roundpen and into the ring. I will also take students out on the trail for a change of scenery.
